Prijepolje emerged and has developed under the wings and the watchful eye of the White Angel of Mileševa.
The “old lady” Europe boasted of this fresco before the New World via
the first satellite image transmitted via the Atlantic on July 23, 1962. , which has become the trade mark in the southwest of Serbia. The White Angel
is the most beautiful fresco in the magnificent gallery of the medieval
fresco painting, accommodated under the domes of the mausoleum of St.
Sava, Mileševa monastery.

diverse and preserved natural environment and rich cultural – historic
heritage with particular emphasis on active, rural and tourism of
